Why buy a subscription box?

Have you ever been tempted to buy a subscription box?  I'm sure you've seen the ads everywhere.  Pay a certain amount monthly or quarterly and get a box in the mail. I've always enjoyed getting the boxes and looking at everything.  Let me tell you why I'm a big fan of these boxes!

1. It feels like you're getting a gift every time you receive a box.  I love getting gifts!  My husband is predictable in his gift-giving.  Birthday, Christmas and our anniversary.  That's pretty much it.  I'm the one who picks up little things for him as a surprise.  Well, with a gift box coming monthly or quarterly, I get to open something and get excited way more times a year!  
2. You can try new things.  I'm a creature of habit.  I reach for the same jewelry, same bag, same black top...get the picture?  If I get something new, I'll definitely try it and I can't tell you how many times I've found a new favorite.  
3. They are usually a great deal!  Most boxes are a set price and the retail value is much more.  
4. Gift-giving is so easy.. In today's world, your BFF doesn't always live next door and your sister might be across the country.  Why not gift them a subscription box?  It would even be fun to both get one and open them together on FaceTime or Skype and make it a party!
5. You can get exclusive items!. Many businesses offer exclusive items to their subscription box customers to make them special.  I love having something unique!  

If you find a subscription box from a boutique or other company you love, give it a try!  Often, you can buy just one to test it out and see what you think.  Pamper yourself a little, you might be pleasantly surprised!
